Tupperware is for ... oh no ME

Ok I am the tupperware lady's worst nightmare. I have always fought against it. I would politely go to parties and buy the token tupperware so they get the ...whatever!! But it was just an excuse to catch up with the ladies without the wildlings (my kids) hovering. Seriously we are talking about plastic...for how long?? Yep I will have that alcoholic beverage..thanks for asking.

Whatever...
But what happens when my pantry gets attacked by my family of 5 combined with pantry moths. Chaos thats what. Let the shame begin. I like order, but if I can shut a door on the chaos I will

Exhibit A

Exhibit B

After another tupperware party at a friends and 9 years of it I put my hand up to host one. BOO! But when I thought about it, I realised I had to do something about my mess I call a kitchen pantry. Being Friday 13 and my birthday 2 days after I figured I would do a black Friday tupperware part.

Black Friday, the girls or better known as witches with attitudes

Plastic with alcohol...I needed lots of alcohol.
I had fun but was concerned about the tupperware pressure and perceived pressure on my witches to purchase. Anyway many drinks later and $$$$$ I have a tupperware moth free cupboard. Took me only a couple of hours to empty, scrub, sort and organise. Now a few weeks later still looks organised.

After some elbow grease and expensive plastic
For those of you who like tupperware but hate the cost. Think about using gumtree or ebay. I will probably do this in the future. For non Perth peeps and those that dont know Gumtree is a great place to get good second hand items for great prices. Ebay I use more for clothes.
